From contemporary techniques to more traditional … be inspired to try something new.
A five-week course exploring textile techniques including stitch, colour and simple print techniques to create unique pieces. Stamp, stencil, dye, print, bleach, bond and embroider, developing complex and exciting surfaces.
Be adventurous and have fun creating your own art cloth and pieces that are rich in texture, colour and pattern.

This course will focus on acrylic painting techniques and how to get the best out of your materials. Starting with observational drawing, you will learn how to handle both paint and brushes. You will experiment with colour mixing and balancing, and gain an understanding of composition. We hope you will be adventurous and develop your own methods and ideas.
