Pitchblue  have been captivated by the work and life of Viennese refugee, Irma Pierson, and are hosting a sale of her paintings and a talk by her daughter, Lyn, at their studio over the May Bank Holiday weekend (28th – 30th May 2016).

From the tales her mother told, from letters and possessions found after her mother’s death in 2010, Lyn has put together Irma’s life story.

Irma was an incredibly resourceful woman who left secrets behind in Austria but brought with her to England a zest for life and a passion for painting that continued until the day she died, aged 95.

We have invited Lyn to bring together her mother’s story and a selection of her artwork for an exhibition and sale at Pitchblue Studio.

There are limited places available for a preview evening talk on Friday 27th May,  but Lyn will be available each day of the event.

To book a place for the preview evening or find out more about this event or other activities at Pitchblue Studio.
